Welcome to GiftsToPrint. By using our website at https://giftstoprint.com (the "Site") or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

We are a UK limited company providing personalized digital newspaper-style poster gifts.

2. Our Products

GiftsToPrint creates personalized digital posters featuring real historical events and headlines from a specific year. Each poster is:

  • Custom-designed for the year, recipient, occasion, and country edition you specify
  • Delivered digitally as a print-ready, high-resolution JPEG via secure Dropbox link (no physical shipping)
  • Hand-finalized by a designer before delivery — never auto-generated
  • Available in four country editions: United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia

We also sell a small number of editable Canva templates. These work differently: you receive a PDF containing a link to a Canva template which you personalize and export yourself. They are not designer-finalized, and the revisions in section 6 do not apply to them.

All prices are displayed in USD on the storefront. Local currency conversion is provided where Shopify Markets supports it.

3. Placing an Order

When you place an order, you provide:

  • Recipient's name, year, occasion, and other personalization details
  • A photo of the recipient for inclusion in the poster
  • A personal message
  • Country edition preference

You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide. We will use exactly what you submit. If you discover an error after submitting, contact us at hello@giftstoprint.com as soon as possible.

By placing an order, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent/guardian
  • The information you've provided is accurate and complete
  • You have the right to use any photo you upload (you own it or have permission)
  • Your payment method is valid and authorized

4. Pricing, Payment, and VAT

  • Standard turnaround: $19.49 USD per poster
  • Rush turnaround: $21.99 USD per poster (12-hour weekday rush or 24-hour weekend rush)

Prices include VAT where applicable. UK VAT is charged at the prevailing rate to customers within the UK. Customers outside the UK are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or fees in their own country.

Payments are processed securely by Shopify Payments. We do not see or store your full card details.

5. Turnaround and Delivery

All posters are delivered as a digital download via a secure Dropbox link sent to your email address.

Weekend Rush 24 hours (Saturday & Sunday)

These turnaround times begin once your order is received and payment is confirmed. If we need clarification on any of the personalization details, the clock pauses until you reply.

We do not offer physical shipping. You are responsible for printing the poster yourself — at home, a local print shop, or any online printer.

6. Revisions

Every order includes revisions before and after final delivery, at no extra cost.

If anything about your poster isn't right — a name spelling, the photo, the wording of your message — reply to your order email and we will correct it and send you an updated file.

This is our buyer-protection commitment. We want every customer to receive a poster they're proud to give.

7. Refund Policy

Because our products are personalized digital creations made specifically for you:

In this section, "delivered" means the moment we email you the download link for your finished poster.

  • No refunds are issued once your poster has been delivered.
  • Revisions are included at no extra cost, both before and after delivery — see section 6.
  • You may cancel for a full refund at any time before your poster has been delivered. Contact us at hello@giftstoprint.com with your order details and we will refund your original payment method.

This policy reflects the personalized nature of our products and complies with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which exempt digital content and personalized goods from the standard 14-day right of withdrawal once production has begun.

8. Photo Uploads and Intellectual Property

Your Photos

  • You retain ownership of any photo you upload.
  • By uploading a photo, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use it solely for creating your personalized poster.
  • We do not share, sell, or use your photos for marketing, AI training, or any other purpose.
  • See our Privacy Policy for details on photo storage and retention.

Our Designs

  • The design templates, layouts, fonts, and original artwork are the intellectual property of GiftsToPrint.
  • When you purchase a poster, you receive a personal-use license to print and display the finished design.
  • You may print as many copies as you like for personal/gift use.
  • You may not resell, redistribute, or use the design commercially without our written permission.

Historical Content

The headlines, news events, and cultural references included in your poster are based on publicly available historical information. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but provide content "as is" for the purpose of personalization.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use GiftsToPrint to:

  • Upload offensive, abusive, or illegal content (including images that violate someone else's rights)
  • Use the service to harass, defame, or harm any third party
  • Attempt to disrupt, hack, or scrape the Site
  • Resell our designs or services without authorization

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders that violate these terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses (e.g., emotional distress over a poster gift, missed gifting occasion due to printing delays at a third-party print shop).
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited under UK law.

Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by these Terms.

11. Reviews and Feedback

We may invite you to leave a review via Judge.me. Reviews are voluntary, and your review may be displayed publicly on our website and aggregated rating systems. You agree that we may use your review in marketing materials, attributed by first name and last initial only.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer based in another country, this does not deprive you of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of your local consumer protection laws.
